3 p.m. - Procession begins at Pilgrim Congregational UCC
4 p.m. - Gathering at the Capitol
On Palm Sunday, Christians remember that Jesus rode into Jerusalem peacefully and humbly on the back of a donkey, proclaiming a kingdom rooted not in power but in love. In his teaching in Matthew 25, he calls his followers to care for those who are hungry, sick, and strangers.
Palm Sunday Path is a public, peaceful witness to these shared Christian values. Across Michigan and across denominations, we are coming together to pray, to sing, and to walk as one body, reminding each other and all of Michigan that our faith calls us to feed the hungry, heal the sick, and welcome the stranger.
In a time when our communities can feel divided and fearful, we gather to remember what unites us. We gather to encourage one another. We gather to make visible the love of Christ in our life together.
All who share these values are welcome to join us. Whether you walk in the procession, meet us at the Capitol, sing in the choir, or commit to this work in your own community, there is a place for you on the path.

Give to the Palm Sunday Path
Hosting a responsible, safe, and legal gathering of this size takes significant time, effort and money. We welcome direct contributions to support our March 29 gathering.
Sing justice! Sing Peace!
Now is the time to use your voice to resist hatred and authoritarianism. You are invited to join a choir that will participate in the Palm Sunday Path Michigan procession and gathering at the state capitol. Music will be sent to choir participants ahead of on-site rehearsals and Palm Sunday.
